In the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, we highlight a couple of stellar performances in the midst of a sparse schedule. Then in our Third Period segment, we welcome back to the show journalist Damien Cox to share his insights on the Leafs' current season, and his thoughts on the decisions surrounding Team Canada’s roster as we approach the big reveal.

In this episode we dive headfirst into the Leafs news of the week, some of which was not good. But it’s not all challenges—there’s plenty to celebrate, too!  So, despite Auston Matthews' absence, and in LTL fashion, we roll the Highlight Reel and spotlight three standout moments from the past week. It’s November and that means the Leafs should be turning a corner soon, since in the past few seasons they have had really good win-loss records in November, so let's hope that continues! Our LTL Insider Mike Augello joins us to give his thoughts on Brad Treliving's latest moves, as well as what he thinks may be coming given the looming roster crunch.

The Leafs gave us some big news to talk about in naming Auston Matthews the 26th captain of the team! All things being equal, we don't think MLSE could've executed the move any better and by most accounts the official reveal was received positively by players and Leafs Nation alike. In this Quick Hit episode we discuss the the big announcement as we usher in the Matthews era.
