Captain's Comeback, and Rocket McMann Shines as Star of the Week
While fans have been easing their way back into post Holiday routines, the Leafs have hit the ground running playing 3 games in 4 nights since New Year's Day! It's been a pretty good stretch too, with the club winning 4 out of 5 games up to Sunday's tilt vs Philly. Not a bad way to start 2025!

Perhaps the best gift us Leafs fans received so far this year, is the return of our Captain, Auston Matthews! Mere days before he stepped back on the ice, Matthews himself intimated that he was uncertain about his return. Fast forward a few days and a calendar turn, and there he was, not only back on the ice vs the Bruins, but contributing in a big way, tallying 13 points combined with his line-mates and helping set up fellow Arizonite Knies for his first career hat-trick!
The Captain wasn't the only one to make an impression. We also give some love to... you know it, Joseph Woll, who is building some stamina playing several consecutive games now, and 4 wins in 5.
Next, its time to name our Quick Hits Star of the Week! Bobby McMan is this weeks star. With 2 goals and and assist, the point total definitely doesn't tell the whole story! Developing into a true power forward, he's using the energy created by his line-mates and taking it to the net! With yet another 2 goal game to add to his resume, Rocket McMann is most certainly worthy of Star of the Week honours!
