Seems like forever since our last show! Probably because the Leafs have only played 3 games! Still we managed to sort through the good and the bad, and discuss our picks in the GBU. Due the the small sample size, we put the LTL Highlight Reel on the shelf and instead debut a new segment, "Who Says No", where we look at hypothetical trades involving the Leafs and debate the outcome. In the Third Period we take a pre-deadline trip around the league looking at some teams that may part of the post season dance come April.

We are just past the halfway point of the season and we already know that the Leafs are playing Tampa in the 1st round of the playoffs! Chris has been monitoring the team's losses to sub-par competition, and she delivers her first report. Despite these losses to the lesser lights, things are still looking pretty good for the Leafs since the start of the new year! For the Third Period, we have an exclusive behind the scenes look at the NHL Situation Room, where the on ice calls in the NHL are reviewed. Chris gives us her special report from her visit to the NHL's Toronto offices back in November.

We're going to talk Leafs as always cuz well... that's what we do, but we have a a couple special segments planned in celebration of the Holiday Season and to close out the year in style! We've got a great GBU segment and then its time to start the festivities with our first ever Ladies Talkin' Leafs Gift Reel! Last but not least we pay tribute to all of you that have supported us over the year. We are so grateful. The Leafs honoured Borje Salming on Saturday night in a moving ceremony before the game vs. the Canucks. The Leafs all-time points leader for defencemen, Salming is a member of the HHOF, who announced this past summer he is battling ALS. In our GBU segment, we are happy to report that some of our stars are starting to look like their old selves, and one even made our LTL Highlight reel again for only the second time this year! In our Third Period Segment we have a new instalment of "On the Road with Chris and Syl", as we recount our latest trip to Raleigh, North Carolina.

The ladies evaluate the Leafs' start to the season in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Then we give our choices for the first instalment of the LTL Highlight Reel for the 2022-23 season. In the Third Period we give thoughts on the emerging developments at Hockey Canada, and the possible future of the organization. We wrap up the show on a high note as we announce the winner of our 3rd annual Anniversary contest.

In our final Patio Season episode of the summer, the Ladies preview the Leaf's Training camp set to open this week. We also have a special edition of the LTL Highlight reel, featuring our top three moments of the summer. We conclude our offseason with a look at the NHL Coaching Carousel to prepare you for all the new faces behind the benches on the Visitor's side of the rink. A final reminder that there is still time to enter our Anniversary Contest which closes on September 30th.

In this episode we are finally able to reveal our Big Announcement--joining the Bleav Network! In addition we touch on the Leafs development camp, the 2022-23 Leafs Schedule and discuss the offseason moves to date. We take a deeper dive into the schedule and highlight some road trip possibilities in our latest segment of "On the Road with Chris and Syl", and wrap up the show with a run down of our Atlantic division rivals.

The Stanley Cup Final is set to go, which means that we should start hearing a bit more chatter from NHL teams. There has been some Leaf news and, of course, the Ladies are always set to bring you up to date with what’s been going on with the Blue and White!

It’s not the ending that we or any Leaf fan wanted or expected, but once again the Leafs lost in the first round of the playoffs in a Game 7. Yes, the core group of players lead the team in points. Yes the refereeing was horrible! And yes, they gave it their all, but ultimately it ended with the same, all too familiar result.

The Leafs quest for the Stanley Cup has begun anew! Chris and Syl are excited and ready to bring you more of Ladies Talkin’ Leafs on a weekly basis! Be sure to follow and listen to our show and we will have you ready for all that is to come in this series vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning and beyond!
