Talkin' A Baffling Start to the Season , Changes at Hockey Canada and Announcing our 3rd Anniversary Contest Winner!
The NHL schedule makers weren’t very kind to the Maple Leafs giving them a back-to-back to start off the regular season and 3 games in 4 nights! It kicked off a somewhat tumultuous start with the team having a less than stellar performance vs. the Canadiens and once again, the injury bug hit the goaltending department with Matt Murray placed on LTIR dealing with an adductor injury. Even the Home Opener seemed low-key, and the Ladies break it all down in our segment The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!
The Ladies Talkin’ Leafs Highlight Reel is back and we roll it with players who stood out in a positive way! Maybe Joey Slick and Bradley Scarborough will make an appearance after being stars at the Tim Horton’s drive thru!
In the Third Period Segment we give our thoughts on the latest developments emerging from the Hockey Canada scandal. With the resignation of its Board of Directors, we discuss what the future may hold for the organization.
